Background

I´d like to share my experiences during my year as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. My sponsor district is Rotary Point West, in Sacramento, California, #5180, and my host district is Rotary Vitacura, in Santiago, Chile. I will be studying and doing research with the Dept of Nutrition at Universidad Católica de Santiago, Chile. In June, 2010, I plan to return to California to begin my residency in Family Medicine. I hope that this experience in Santiago will help prepare me as a physician focused on Public Health in the US and abroad.
